We are pleased to inform that Association of Krzyżowa Friends has been founded in Warsaw. Anna Michalak-Pawłowska, a member of a Board of Supervisors of "Krzyżowa" Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, is a founder and initiator of the Association.

Members of the Association of Krzyżowa Friends are graduates of the project “ International Artistic Summer”, which has been organized in Krzyżowa since year 1997. The main aim of Association is supporting artistic actions during next projects in Krzyżowa, what emphasizes Anna Michalak-Pawłowska:

-Our project has lasted for 14 years and it is impressive. Just think about the number of ambassadors that Foundation has in different countries. Of course there are also other projects and we host many various young people in Krzyzowa but participants of our project are special because they are young artists. In a Theatre School I was taught “breathe the place where you create” and our youth felt it here. They created graphics, sculptures, performances, these were their very individual meetings with Krzyżowa. They still say that this is one of the most important places in their life. They are the biggest community connected with Foundation in Poland and it was natural that we decided to found such organization. Being graduates of “Summer”, it is clear that we want to invest in creative potential of students from East Europe’s Academies of Arts.
