 The International Summer Arts Project for young people from 18 to 26 years old has been running since 1996.Every year approximately 100 talented people from Central and Eastern Europe (Poland, Belarus, Ukraine, Russia, Lithuania and Germany) take part in the project.
Project participants have the opportunity to work with experienced instructors and teachers from art schools in Poland and abroad. The workshops include graphic design, pottery, sculpture, film, theatre, pantomime, and dance. Each of the workshops consists of 80 lessons. The project culminates in a presentation of results of each workshop’s activity, as well as performances in dance and theatre, concerts, exhibitions, and community events. These presentations are open to local people from Krzyzowa and the entire region of Lower Silesia. Participants from Eastern Europe are eligible for art scholarships, which enable them to participate in the project. Participants from Poland and other EU countries pay at a discounted rate.
