October 2. to 4. 2009 members of the Krzyzowa staff took part in the first project team meeting of the project „Connecting Central Europe through Local History“. This project was initiated by the European Association of History Educators EUROCLIO.

The meeting took place in the small slowakian city of Komarno, right at the border to Hungary. The projectteam consists of teachers, trainer and experts in the field of didactics from Hungary, Poland, Slowak Republic, Germany and Ukraine. The project aim is the development of innovative educational material on a common topic in the regional history of Central Europe. In the end lessons connected with the „common local history“ shall be prepared and available in all languages of the countries in question.
