The innovative educational project is based on education in historical surroundings and was created for young people from the age of 16 and older.

A number of interdisciplinary lessons on history, social and religious studies as well as polish and german language have taken place already. Because Kreisau is a place of dialogue and understanding, a humanistic dimension has been added. Students have the opportunity, to take a creative look on history and additionally get to know young people from other european countries.

The lessons are arranged themtically and the students get involved in an active way. Methods such as workig in small groups, independant work with source material, debates, interviews and meetings with interesting people and contemporary witnesses amount to profound learning sucesses.

In this way, students get used to work in a team, take decision in complicated situations, stand in for their own opinion and argue in a discussion. Thanks to the workshops, the young people also train how to deal with texts and how to analyze them in ways of language, history or politics.en, sie erfahren, wie man Texte sprachlich, geschichtlich und politisch analysieren kann.
