Udostępniono XIX-wieczne nagrania głosów dwóch znanych postaci niemieckiej i europejskiej historii.
Wśród nich najstarszy, słyszalny głos świata - hrabiego Helmutha Karla Bernharda von Moltke, który urodził się w 1800 roku. To właśnie on w 1867 roku kupił dla swojej rodziny majątek ziemski w Krzyżowej, gdzie w latach II wojny światowej jego potomek (prawnuk jego rodzonego brata) Helmuth James von Moltke miał zorganizować konspirację przeciwko Hitlerowi - Krąg z Krzyżowej.

We are pleased to inform that Association of Krzyżowa Friends has been founded in Warsaw. Anna Michalak-Pawłowska, a member of a Board of Supervisors of "Krzyżowa" Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe, is a founder and initiator of the Association.

On Friday, June 17th 2011, Ludwik Melhorn’s family and friends met at Polish Embassy in Berlin so as to take part in ceremony of honouring Ludwik Melhorn with Grand Cross of the Order of Merit of the Republic of Poland by Polish president, Bronisław Komorowski.

Deep in mourning we announce the death of a co-founder and co-creator of our foundation, Ludwig Mehlhorn. He died 3rd May in Berlin at the age of 61 after a long battle against illness. Ludwig Mehlhorn was a precursor of the Polish – German understanding, a long-term member of the Foundation Governing Body and a big friend of Krzyżowa.

In 2010 he celebrated his 60th birthday with his family and friends. He was diagnosed with cancer in September and his treatment started immediately. He last visited Krzyżowa in January 2011.
