Viacheslav Golovko Viacheslav Golovko (Slavko Go) from the Ukraine is a student at the University of Economy in Wrocław studying logistics. Slavko is a former volonteer of the programm "memoria. Volonteers for Europes Cultural Heritage“, in Krzyżowa in the year 2007/2008. Now he is cooperating in the project “We, children of Europe – Getting to know Europe through Art”. How did you get to the project "We, Children of Europe – Getting to know Europe through Art”?I found out about Krzyżowa with the help of a frined who showed me its homepage. For me it was very interesting, so i decided to do a volontary service here in 2007. Because i learned the polish language rather fast during my stay, i started translating from ukrainian to polish language. For the summer project “We, Children of Europe – Getting to know Europe through Art” the foundation needed a translater. I was asked, agreed and this is how my cooperation on this project started. What made this project interesting for you? I like children and enjoy working with them a lot. They are always interesting, especially when they spend time with other european children. One sees how they grow together easily, despite their different languages. Additionally, it seems to be easier for them to learn foreign languages. What are your wishes for Kreisau? First of all, i hope the foundation will realize more projects with the Ukraine. This country is still a bit on the edge – just like Serbia or other small countries. During such projets i can offer my help to Krzyżowa and take action in an international team. |
