Karolina Moroz

Karolina Moroz – trainer of Creative Writing, tourist guide in Wrocław. Since March of the year 2010 she is conductor of the project: „School in Krzyżowa“ in the Krzyżowa Foundation for Mutual Understanding in Europe and also teaching polish language to foreigners. Furthermore she is co-working on the project: „Artsummer in Krzyżowa“ and „Summer Guitar Festival”.

Why did you decide to work in Krzyżowa?

When the Krzyżowa Foundation celebrated its 20th anniversary, i came here for the first time. This place was very interesting to me and i wanted to work for a NGO where i could realize own ideas.

What are your responsibilities in Krzyżowa?

I am realising a very interesting project for Gymnasia and High Schools called „School in Krzyżowa“. It is about historical knowledge and methods that one usually doesn´t know from school, taking place at a site where history is still alive.
For me, the possibility to connect historical topics with films is a good way to arouse young peoples interests for history and cultur even more.

What else would you introduce to „School in Krzyżowa“?

New media are the future. I would like to create a film workshop in Krzyżowa. In this way, i could realize more historical and film workshops with young people.
I would also like to introduce the programm “School in Krzyżowa” to elementary schools.
